A few days ago i was on the road from 5 in the morning till 10 at night. Half of that time i spent behind a steering wheel winding through mountain passes, overtaking trucks in the nick of time and, at night, feeing like a rabbit in the headlights of on coming traffic.
It was not your average sunday drive. It was long, arduous and painful. But after unpacking all the luggage i melted down into a puddle of sleep. I evaporated into a cloud of nothingness. I felt weightless. I dissolved into a dreamy mist. I felt light. And for the first time that day i could breathe. Like dew drops in the morning i felt clear. Like a surrendered leaf in a cool summer breeze, i was floating. My longues, my chest and my mind was bulging sails at sea. I felt expanded. I felt uplifted. I felt enchanted. I felt totally captivated by a ligeraiting force. I felt free. I felt the much understated marvel, mystery and magic of sleep...
